Galiano Golfing - Cycling Day Trip

I did this last year, and it's only a short ride but there is a long hill (~20min worth) and it does involve a round of golf (~2hrs). You can choose to cycle to the Tswwassen Ferries, take the bus, or drive & park at the SDRC. Option 1 is to meet at the SDRC and cycle to the terminal (7km/20min). Or option 2, meeting at the Terminal. The ferry leaves at 10:25am, so you need to be there by 10am.

Cycling distance on Galiano is ~5km each way between the Ferry terminal and the golf course. You can rent equipment at the course, or you can carry the few clubs & balls you might need with you.

Cost is free for seniors, but ~$30 for others, golf is $25 for 9 holes (see www.golfgaliano.com) plus anything else you need during or apres (perhaps the Hummingbird Pub). Join me on a day trip to Galiano to play a round of golf. We be taking the 5:55 return ferry.
