Fall Lodge Work Weekend

Join us for our fall lodge work weekend. Come on up to the lodge to share a couple of days with your club mates and help make our club lodge a better place to stay!

Typical spring clean-up includes:

• Yard maintenance, including raking, shoveling, and maybe one dump trip
• Exterior windows and deck cleaned.
• Parking lot maintenance.
• Interior cleaning of all our living areas. Kitchen, living rooms, and bedroom details.
• Launder bed covers.
• Prep the lodge for carpet cleaning through a company we use.
• Various DIY style repairs and maintenance.
• In general, plenty of cleaning, maintenance, and outdoor work.
• Sometimes painting if weather allows.

I’ll have a detailed list of specific jobs once we get closer to the work weekend. I’ll also have volunteers divided into small teams that are given sections of the job list so that you’re never alone, and it makes it more fun.

It’s a busy weekend where we work all morning Saturday, take a lunch break, then work until late afternoon. Sunday is similar, but we typically finish by 3:00 pm. People outdoors work in the rain or shine. Evenings are social and time to recharge.
